Tell us about the placement procedure of the Company?What was the procedure of selection? Roughly how many people were short listed at each level? And how many were made final offers?
The process started with an online test {basic aptitude }, Out of 70 students they select only 22 students for next round. The next round started with GD{other colleges involved too }. And they selected around 18 out of 22 of us. Then they conducted technical round in which 12 of us got selected. And after the final HR round 11 out 12 got selected.
Walk us through the GDs/Interviews of this company. The questions that you were asked and other details that you may remember would be of great help.
GD started with group of 8 people 4 from our college and 4 from other colleges. Before starting the GD , they asked if we would like to suggest any topic. {Don’t miss this golden chance , suggest any random current topic on which you have some sound knowledge, prepare this topic in Advance}. Then they raised the topic of “Racism in Secular India”. Speak whatever you want but make sure your point should be lucid and in context.
What advice or tips would you like give to your juniors?
1. I would like to suggest students to prepare for CAT, MAT in the starting of 3rd year so that there should be no difficulties for online tests and GDs during placements.
2. Keep your basics clear in every subject, specially- C, C++, Data Structure , DB, {java if you have done a minor or major project in it}
3. Choose one language and be a master of it . Don’t try to be jack of all trades.
