Latest L&T Infotech Placement papers Fresher Job Interview Pattern 18, January 2010
Hi Friends, I would Like to share my Experience with You all. L&T had their placement in my
college around 9am. They began with aptitude round. In Aptitude round they presented 3 sections
having a sectional cut-off in each:
(solve min of 15 correct in each section first and then YOU can come back in your remaining time
to remaining questions as each section has cut-off around 14 marks I repeat.)
Written Test:
There are Total 3 Sections:
* Quantitative
* Logical Reasoning
* Verbal Reasoning
This placements were a POOL of 4 colleges together and around 188 cleared the Aptitude of about
350. I was fortunate enough to get selected. To our surprise they had a GD Round Later comprising
of 16 groups with 12 persons each and many got eliminated leaving 104 for the Technical and HR
Interview.
Technical and HR Interview
To summarize there were 4 Rounds:
* Aptitude
* Group Discussion
* Technical Interview
* HR Interview
Group Discussion topics varied from easy to difficult. leaving my group with a topic on “Should
Capital Punishment be Abolished? “. there were other topics such as arranged/love marriage,
checks for hijacks in plane etc..
Technical Interview had questions such as:
* difference between C++/JAVA?
* what is pointer and object orientation?
* what is Multi-threading?
Get all your basic knowledge clear and answer confidently. that’s the key. HR is managed on its
own as it is a cakewalk.
The most mind boggling part was that the interviews and placement went on till 11pm in the night,
me being the last person to give HR interview and getting selected the next day (an unforgettable
memory). It was a fun filled experience and an actual feel pf getting placed competing with
various colleges.
