HI!!! This is Somdeb from NARULA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY…… TECH MAHINDRA came 2 our college on 21st of march for campussing & it was my luck that has helped me 2 get selected in this company…. About 140 students appeared for the aptitude test…. From that 74 students cleared the aptitude test…. 51 students cleared the technical interview….. At last 39 students got the job..
At first there was a brief PPT session,where we came 2 know bout the company’s prospects.Then there was an aptitude test which was held for 1 hour.
The aptitude test got five sections:-
ANALYTICAL AND LOGICAL REASONING—NON VERBAL
ANALYTICAL AND LOGICAL REASONING—VERBAL
ENGLISH COMPREHENSION—FILL IN THE BLANKS
ENGLISH COMPREHENSIONS—MULTIPLE CHOICE QUESTIONS
ENGLISH COMPREHENSION—PARAGRAPH READING
Time management
is the key 2 this aptitude test.We were given 1hr time for the aptitude test which has 75 questions. So to clear the test u hve 2 b very fast & 1 thing i would tell every1 2 do is that,plz do the english part first,then the analytical part.
After the aptitude test there was the technical interview. My interview went for 20 mins approx.
Interviewer:-Tell me about urself..
Me:-bla bla…..
Interviewer:-What is ur favourite subject???
Me:-Mathematics
Interviewer:-OW!!!!!ur fav subjct is Mathematics????ok ok….now tell me how can u get 1 by using three elevens….u can use any operators…..
Me:-(11/11)^11….(It took me 30-40 seconds)
Interviewer:-Do u know C & DATA STRUCTURE???
Me:-Yes sir…
Interviewer asked me the definitions of data structure,stack,queue..
I answered them well enough..
Interviewer:-What is ur strong point in C?Huh
Me:-Recursion
Interviewer:-Write a C program using RECURSION….
I wrote the program of fibonacci series using recursion.
Interviewer:-Is there any classes in c???
Me:-No..
Interviewer:-R u sure???
Me:-100% sure Sir…
Interviewer:-Before MBT,hve u passed the aptitude test of any other company?Huh I told that I passed the aptitude test of TCS,but I didn’t clear the technical interview of TCS….
Interviewer:-What do u think,why didn’t u cleared the technical at the time of TCS?Huh
Me:-Since it was my first interview,so I was nervous….And secondly I was not comfortable with the interviewer…
Interviewer:-So…………….u r not nervous with me?Huh
Me:-No Sir……(I think this was the answer dat has helped me to impress the interviewer) I told that u r very comfortable,u r vey friendly..while talking u r looking at my eyes,that makes me feel that u r deeply interested in what I am telling…. I told that, Sir dont think that I am trying to lure u….I am just telling u a true thing.The interviewer got very impressed by my answers..
Interviewer:-Would u like to ask me something?Huh
Me:-Does MBT provide higher education?Huh
Interviewer:-Ya,but U hve to give ur 100% hard work at the time of training…..If u give this,then MBT will sure provide higher education
Me:-Sir,I would definitely give my 100%..
Interviewer:-Then u will definitely get higher education….
Interviewer:-U may go now….
Me-Thank u Sir!!!!!!!!It was nice talking to u….Bye.
I was very satisfied with my technical interview…..I was sure that I will clear the Technical….The result was out one & a half hours later….&
thanks to GOD that I got selected for the HR…. At HR the interviewer asked me many cross questions….But I was able to answer them with confidence and coolness…..
It was at 1.05 am at night that the final results were announced….. I GOT SELECTED IN TECH MAHINDRA
